Painted in October 2018, what was once a drab, abandoned pharmacy on Colfax became a colorful and vibrant piece of art! Designed by Pat Milbery & Pat McKinney and painted by Milbery, McKinney, Josh Deitchman and Hunter Stevens, the mural was a play off the classic Beatles album cover for Abbey Road. The mural was part of a grant won by the team through WalkDenver, Denver Arts & Venues and a P.S. You Are Here grant. The goal? Highlight the international initiative "Vizion Zero" which aims to envision a city with zero traffic fatalities as well as highlight pedetrian, cyclist and driver safety.
